Philippine National Police Manolo Fortich Collaborates with Northern Bukidnon State College to Strengthen Anti-Terrorism Measures
In a landmark partnership to strengthen community resilience against terrorism, the Philippine National Police (PNP) Manolo Fortich recently joined forces with Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) to conduct an impactful forum on anti-terrorism strategies. The event drew significant attention from students, faculty, and local leaders who gathered to gain insights into the evolving landscape of terrorism and the critical role of community involvement in countering such threats.
Police Corporal Lexleen Pearl Careras and Patrol Woman Sarah Jean Iba speakers at the forum, commended the collaborative effort between the PNP Manolo Fortich and NBSC. The event was fully supported by Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden, the college president, and was participated by mostly RSS 5 Peace Education students.
The forum, organized by the PNP Manolo’s Anti-Terrorism Task Force in coordination with NBSC’s NSTP Office, Student Affairs Services Office, Security Office, and Extension Office, covered a range of topics, including the latest trends in terrorism, threat assessments, and the importance of community engagement in prevention efforts.
In addition to the forum, the PNP Manolo Fortich and NBSC are exploring avenues for sustained collaboration, including workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns. The goal is to create a comprehensive anti-terrorism program that can be integrated into the college’s curriculum, ensuring a continuous and proactive approach to addressing the challenges posed by terrorism.
